One of poker’s original “Young Guns,” Erick Lindgren is now part of a player generation settling into adulthood at the tournament tables.
Lindgren was born in Burney, California, and seemed destined for the poker life. Highly competitive in any sport he played as a kid,
Lindgren took to the poker tables once he realized his chances of becoming a NBA player were slim.

While attending college in Northern California, Lindgren immersed himself in poker, playing as much as he could, including live tournaments,
cash games, and on the internet.  He moved to the Bay Area in California, taking a prop player position at Casino San Pablo.  There, Lindgren
would learn the intricacies of all the poker games, playing thousands of hands.  He played full time in California for more than five years before
deciding to move to Las Vegas in 2002.

That year marked his breakout onto the professional poker scene, when he won the main event of the Bellagio Five Diamond Poker Classic.
Over the next few years, Lindgren would go on to win several major tournaments and countless cash games, cementing his name among the poker elite.
Some of his most distinguished poker wins and honors include:

As one of Full Tilt Poker’s original poster boys, Lindgren is a veteran and one of the most recognizable names in the game.
After ten years as a successful professional poker player, there is little doubt that he will continue to triumph in the poker world.

In addition to poker, Lindgren loves great restaurants.  He is particularly fond of places that provide a unique vibe and great food…
a spot where he can unwind with friends after long sessions at the tables.  Early in 2008, Lindgren was approached by long time
friend Hugo Moreno, who, along with Chef Ralph Perrazzo, was planning on starting a distinctive hospitality company.
The three partnered to launch Rare Concepts Group.
